Steven Kavner
Founder, Managing Director
Peabody Award winning producer of the PBS series, Wishbone, Steven has
created, produced, written, and directed commercials and trailers for some
of today’s greatest children’s icons. He and Anthony are developing shows for
broadcast as well as forays into music videos and casual gaming. Steven
was Senior Producer for Lyrick Studios/Hit Entertainment where he
developed new shows for the studio and new directions for Wishbone and
Barney & Friends. Previously, he created and wrote a pilot for CBS and taught improv
and acting at the famed Stella Adler Academy before starting his own studio.
Steven is a two-time DramaLogue Award winner as an actor where he
appeared and guest starred in dozens of
television series, movies, and daytime
dramas as well as over fifty commercials and voiceovers. He was also a
member of the renowned improv
troupe, The Groundlings.
Michael Anthony Steele
Senior Producer, Writer, Director
For the past fifteen years, Anthony has worked in film and television production from props and
special effects all the way to writing and directing. He
was a staff writer for PBS series Wishbone where he co wrote their first full-length
feature, Wishbone’s Dog Days of the West with Steven.
Since then Anthony has written twenty-five
episodes for Barney & Friends, several Barney home videos as well as five videos for the animated preschool property: Boz, The Green Bear Next Door. Anthony has also authored over sixty books for such major
family entertainment brands as Shrek, Speed Racer, The Batman,
GI Joe, Word Girl, Garfield, The Naked Brothers Band,
and The Night at the Museum series.
