Senior Producer/Director/Writer
Michael Anthony Steele has been in the entertainment industry for over twenty years. He has worked in many capacities of film and television production from props and special effects all the way up to writing and directing.
For the past sixteen years, Anthony has exclusively written and directed for family entertainment and advertising. He was a staff writer for the PBS series WISHBONE. Along with Steven Kavner, he co-wrote the Emmy award-winning, full-length feature, WISHBONE’s Dog Days of the West. Since then, Anthony has written twenty-five episodes for the PBS series Barney & Friends, many home videos including five for the video series Boz, The Green Bear Next Door.
Partnered with Steven Kavner and Salty Pretzels Entertainment, Anthony has co-created, written, directed, and produced many new entertainment properties (Subterralien, Ishy, Cheat Code) as well as a variety of advertising campaigns including: print, national radio spots, and national television spots.
To date, Anthony has authored over eighty kid’s books for numerous popular characters and brands including Night at the Museum, The Penguins of Madagascar, Batman, Shrek, Green Lantern, G.I. JOE, Speed Racer, Spider-Man, Garfield, and LEGO City.
